Here are some comments about YOUR 2007 convention:
Hi Greg and Jackie, Just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much we enjoyed the Sunburst Convention, it was wonderful. We met great people and was very impressed on how well coordinated the entire 5 days were, thanks to you. We can hardly wait till next year. It was really nice to meet both of you, if only for short moments, you guys were so busy. Greg, I learned that you too, are an entertainer, didn't have time to talk with you about it but I'd love to know more about what you do. Best Regards, Gloria & Harry Waldman Artcetera, Inc. for M3 Productions
To the Thompson Family, Thank you all for a wonderful time at Sunburst. The convention was run very professionally and made to give ALL the Impersonators a chance to show our stuff. I was thrilled that I was a runner up. I had a great time and I look forward to next years convention. Best regards. All the best, Danny Lopez www.JohnnyDeppImpersonator.com / www.MySpace.com/DannyLopez9
So... now you know how Dr. Frankenstein felt when he screamed:"IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!" Good Lord, man. You've created a monster. A huge, successful monster. This is not some little convention anymore. This is THE convention. How nice it must be to watch your creation grow to such epic proportions in just 5 short years. For all of us who have been with you from the onset, we just sit back and watch with utter and complete amazement as our extended family grows and grows every year. Who knew that Sunburst would become the ultimate convention that the industry would flock to? Well, now it is. With your new converts and old disciples, the word will get out there and no one in their right mind would miss the opportunity to join our family. 20 Things I learned at Sunburst 2007: 1). Lynn Frye shouldn't be forced to share a room (and a bed) with BOTH his wife and Sister-In Law. I mean, that's method acting SWEENEY style! 2) Richard Gere is dangerous when asked the wrong question. 3) People thought Jamie Mc Kenna was impersonating Peter Griffin from Family Guy. 4) Dale Corcoran (Elvis) is the BEST Donny Osmond in the Biz. He also has this thing about walnuts. 5) Linda Collins only needs a White Zin IV and a smoking section to be happy. 6) John Allen (Sean Connery) has better legs in a skirt than Dame Edna. 7) Joe Posa needs to lose that transformation award next year. He has less to stuff into his undergarments than I do! 8) Bettina Williams (Whoopi) actually becomes Whoopi after a few cocktails. 9) Janie Minick (Liz Taylor) needs to hide her jewelry around me. 10) People think I look like Vince Gill. (When did he get THAT FAT?) 11) Greg's nuts are white, everyone else's are brown... hmm.. (Think your own dirty thought here.) 12) CJ King (Patsy, Cyndi Lauper) is a mama hen around Dale Corcoran. 13) Richard Hampton (Kenny Rogers) is not just a nice guy. Actually, he's very funny and very dirty.. you just have to catch him at the right moment. 14) If every Joan Rivers and every Cher and every Kenny Rogers at this year's convention actually had as much plastic surgery as their original celebrity, we could melt them down and have the world's largest Tupperware party. 15) It's always best (and FAR cheaper) to bring your own booze to the convention. 16) Laddie Dwyer is the ONLY agent who can talk an act into working for wine. She gets good stuff - I'll do it! 17) Betty Atchison's Cher wigs are too big to allow proper nut wearing. 18) Crystal will let you sneak in the showroom without a badge as long as you rub her in the right place. (Which is odd when dressed as Dame Edna.) 19) Every performer should take an example from Mattisen's professionalism under pressure. Most of us divas would have thrown a fit then and there. And FINALLY... 20) John Morgan and Dale Leigh should be allowed to run the country rather than their political counterparts. The Real Clinton and Bush only WISH they were that intentionally entertaining. See you all next year! Michael L. Walters / Dame Edna/ Jackie Gleason: Orlando, Florida
Dear Greg and Jackie, I had such a wonderful time at Sunburst!!! And it started before I got there, because you were so kind & encouraging with all my phone calls. I have never been in thtis new 'impersonator' world, but I felt so at home, and really appreciated how you reached out and made me feel welcome. I've made some great new friends who have offered to help me with my act! I honestly hadn't been around that many kind, brilliant, talented people in years and I still have a smile on my face! Thank you for your had work! Love, Sheri Winkleman (Marilyn Monroe and more....)
Hi Greg and Jackie, I held off sending this "Thank You" for two reasons; first I knew how much work you still had to do, to wrap everything up after the show, so I wanted to give you some space and secondly...I slept for a week... to catch-up myself! I think I only got about 10 hours sleep in 5 nights. (I was part of the crazy bunch that stayed up all night on Saturday!) It was well worth it! I haven't had that much fun since college. Remember, Greg - I already signed up for next year, you just have to tell me the dates. If there is FUN, LAUGHTER, FRIENDS and DANCING (Did I say dancing?) you can always count me IN- and you had it ALL! My face still hurts from smiling and laughing so much. Thank you for all of the effort it took to put on such a great convention. I can't wait until next year! It may have only been a few short days, but the friendships and memories I made will last a life time. It was wonderful getting to know you both. I have some great pictures, I will get a disc off to you soon. Best Wishes, Sharon aka "Martha"
Dear Greg & Jackie, Sunburst '07 rocked! Thanks for a job superbly done! You and your team of experts know how to run a convention that benefits us all in so many ways! Kudos to all of you and please know how much we all appreciate the opportunities provided. It is also wonderful to see our friends every year and to meet new ones! Best Always! Sharon Daniels / www.sharondanielsvoices.com
September 11, 2007 Dear Greg, Jackie, and the entire Production Staff, How many ways are there to say, "Magnificent!".? We had the time of our lives in Orlando this past week, and I cannot begin to express my thanks and admiration and heartfelt applause (can you hear me clapping wildly?) to you for your astonishing work at Sunburst 2007. Every detail, every aspect, every opportunity was clearly devoted to making us, the artists, comfortable and put us in the best possible light. You made us look so good! You know what it takes to be a success in this business, and you demonstrated that time and time again. Thank you for giving Mary and myself one of the most memorable weeks of our lives. And thank you for the tremendous professional exposure to all the talent agents and buyers, of course! Jim & Trish, Jamie, Lynn & Pat, Roxie, Eric, Lori, Terry, Crysho, John - and forgive me if I missed anyone! - treated my wife and me as if we truly were members of the family. God bless each and every one of you, and thank you for making our Sunburst experience feel more like a homecoming than a convention (even though conventions are cool!) Your encouragement and advice is invaluable to me as I continue my young career as an old political impersonator, and you have helped me improve my act by your sound wisdom and experience, and the genuine concern and true friendship you extend so easily to welcome us newcomers. It remains a great learning experience, and the networking, friendships and connections it affords us are beyond measure. I left Sunburst feeling more hopeful - and more professional - than I have ever felt, and you and your entire crew are the reason. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. You know that barring nuclear disaster or the election of Newt Gingrich, I'll be back at Sunburst next year. I just hope it doesn't get so big that you won't have time for us all. It was absolutely worth every penny. Mahalo! Isn't that Hawaiian for . "my nuts hurt.?" Love to you all, Dale R. Dale Leigh / "Bill Clinton's Double"
Had a fantastic time at the Sunburst , and it all turned out to be quite worthwhile. I hope to be able to be here next year for the next convention! You put together a spectacular show my friend , you rock !!! Dale Corcoran
Hey Greg, Just wanted to thank you for another great year! Sunburst 2007 was awesome. Even better than my first year. I booked a job after my showcase Saturday at The Conference and Booked 2 more jobs on the following Monday and Tuesday as a direct result of The Showcase. The last year has been a rollercoaster ride for me.... Thanks for giving me the chance to succeed!! Sunburst Rocks!! Best, Robin Williams Impersonator, David Born
Dear Gregory and Jackie, Sunburst was absolutely delightful. How wonderful to be introduced to a new world of entertainment and meet so many talented, friendly people. Thanks ever so much. Sincerely, Betsy Wickard / Sally Rand- Fan Dancer, Florida
Greg: Major "kudos" to you, Jackie, Jim, Lynn, Jamie and all of your executive staff!!!!!!!! The "Sunburst Convention 2007" defied all my expectations. This venue just keeps on swelling to bigger heights! I am so proud of all your accomplishments and the professional manner that this program assists all look-alike and tribute performers across America (and now the World ) come together and shine! Every year I see people continue to "hone their craft" and we can be thankful that a venue like The Sunburst provides each of us such a tremendous platform to deliver that message. Wow, how do you top this next year? I can hardly wait until 2008! Kindest regards, Don Mincey (a/k/a Chevy Chase)
Hi Greg and Jackie, Thank you for the wonderful time at the "Sunburst Convention". It was great to see our old friends and to meet new ones. You and your wife and your staff did a fantastic job (FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY). Can't wait to come back next year. Sherry and I had so much fun. Not much sleep, but thats ok we fell asleep on the long flights home. Also Greg please take care of yourself and your wonderful family so we can see you all next year and many more years to come. Everyone at the Sunburst Convention are Very Special People and are blessed with all their talents. Thanks again, Brian and Sherry Cannon( Alan Jackson)
Congratulations Marc and everyone involved in getting these numbers up! Its great to be hooked up live and online - what a plus for the industry! What I thought was SO cool .... was all the chatter coming in from all over and the hello's from Brazil, England, and friends and impersonators saying they watched us from afar. What was REALLY touching was this ..... my husband hasn't been able to attend with me all these years ..... and he was planted in front of the computer on Saturday, and watched all the performers and the awards dinner event and got a chance to see how fabulous all my friends are and loved it! Thank you Marc and Sunburst for setting this up! What a plus in so many ways! Anne Kissel - "Roseanne Barr" Tribute Artist - Standup Comic
Greg and Jackie, Thank you so much for your hospitality and that of your staff. The convention was an unqualified success. We liked the hotel too. I know you must be resting up today as we are. Tell Mattisen she was perfect in her showcase. I wish we could have seen her in her crown and necklace. They grow up so fast. Hugs, kisses and congratulations, Janie and Bill
Greg, Thank you for a first class convention. My wife Jan also thoroughly enjoyed it. She watched the entire showcase and was totally impressed by the talent. Everyone was extremely friendly. Thank You Pete Chrusch aka The Godfather
Dear Greg and Jackie, I just wanted to tell you that my wife Julie and I had a FANTASTIC time at the Convention!! The both of you did an awesome job as host and hostess. We can't thank you enough! You made everyone feel so welcomed and it was just a great time! We met some great people and reconnected with some very good "ol" friends! I can't wait to attend next year! I'll sign up as soon as I pay my off bar tab! LOL!! (Just kidding) Thank you again! Sincerely, Ron (Captain Jack) and Julie Rodriguez
Thank you, Greg, I spent the morning and afternoon watching a square on my computer, seeing my friends and feeling like I was there with all of you. Your stage is really beautiful!!! As is the sound and lighting... and cameras.... Compliments to your great team of experts!! And... thank you Marc Dobson and George Trullinger. Great job!!! I cannot wait until tomorrow. Bea
Greg and Jackie, Thanks so much for a wonderful, spectacular weekend. Janet and I loved it and can't wait for the next one. I want my nuts!!!! I took in so much, my head is going to explode. There's so much I can do to expand my business. But most of all I met some wonderful people. And both of you are the catalyst for all of this. I wish I could say thanks to everyone individually for treating my wife and I so graciously. I was very shocked to hear of your heart attack. I don't know what to say except I'm glad you're okay. But from what I can tell it brought your friends together. Next time just have a party, less stress. Thank you both again and I can't wait to catch up with you all again. Maybe Las Vegas!? Regards, Denny Diamond as Neil Diamond
The Webcast was fabulous! I got to see more acts than I ever get to see when I am actually at the convention. Since I am so busy either geting dressed, perparing for my own performance of taking photos. Plus I don't usually get to see them in "close up. I had a blast chatting onthe cell phone (with buddies who were at the showcase) about performances, everybody and everything.Oh, and I loved the "shout out" from Harold Schultz(Elvis) The only problem is, I coudn't tear myself away from the computer screen long enough to prep for my show Sat. night. Congratulations Marc. "You Done Good"! Greg, I love that you continue to embrace new ways to make "The Sunburst" a fun and productive event. Melody Knighton / (Dolly,Lucy,Joan,Marlene)
Just got back from Wednesday to Sunday, from the incredible SUNBURST CONVENTION. I can respond by saying, Greg, Jackie and all the staff (you know who you wonderous creatures are) did a fantastic job, not as usual, because each year it just gets better and better., but, as sted, BETTER & BETTER. There were 4 of us there and we saw some incredible new talent, as well as the wonderful entertainers who continue to help make this a GREAT convention. We feel certain, there will be work! The networking was wonderful and there were so many great surprises! Too many good things can't be said..... Be prepared for the Attendees new photos to be posted soon. Laddie Dwyer/ A Unique Entertainment
Allow me to second Laddie's comments (and by the way, what a pleasure to meet your esteemed self!) As I told Greg and Jackie, that was the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on (and yes, Greg, I DO get out a lot!) The convention seemed "designed for fun" from the git-go, every event went smoothly, nothing bombed, and EVERYONE seemed to be having a terrific time. I especially want to thank everyone for making my wife Mary feel so welcome and part of the gang. She was hesitant to attend this one, because in the past she's sometimes been made to feel like my "appendage" rather than my vital better half and the inspiration that she is. Maybe it was the yellow name tag, but even when she wasn't wearing it, people seemed to go out of their way to include her in all of the conversations and the fun. You don't know how much that is appreciated, when I've seen her actually get pushed out of the way by some rude slobs trying to get to me.(What is UP with that?? Anyone else have spousal abuse stories?) I was especially touched by all the artists and others who willingly signed a get-well card for Carmen Ruiz, our Patsy/Connie TA whom we believe may have had a minor stroke. (She is doing fine, by the way, no loss of speech, just some numbness and dizziness). Very few of you know her, yet you all signed such loving and inspiring messages. I can't thank you enough. Anyway, just wanted to reiterate that this was a very memorable event, and the feeling of "family" came through strong and clear. Mary and I will be re-upping for next year as soon as the details are published - and we will be bringing more of our Arizona Crooners contingent, including, fate willing, Carmen Ruiz. ==JJS== Jim Speiser/ Crooner's Unlimited
Dear Greg and Jackie, Just a note to THANK YOU and your wonderful staff for an exhilarating "three" days at Sunburst. I didn't want to come back to Miami but I had a "gig", as you know, so I had to leave early. We were treated with kindness, respect and "no attitude". I look forward to returning next year (God Willing) and seeing some of the new friends and contacts I made again. I HAD A BALL! Barbara Brighton aka Joan Rivers
Hi Greg, I just wanted to say Congratulations on another successful Sunburst Convention it was amazing to watch. The first part of Friday I worked out the times wrong so missed some BUT I soon caught up and managed to watch the whole show Saturday and stayed up until 3 am UK time to watch the awards. I was so excited to see the UK Impersonators and I feel they did us most Proud. Deanne is stunning and a lovely lady , I Thank you personally for Looking after her and making her feel so very welcome. Deanne was thrilled with her awards and I was touched by how pleased she was to win the Best promo pic award. Dan as Borat what can I say he was hilarious, and he had been meaning to get in touch with me but after watching his performance I searched the web and found him, we now have contact and he is hopefully coming on board Lookalikes-Unite. I have to say Marc Dobson did a fantastic job and it was so wonderful to watch the Convention and feel part of it. It has linked the UK and US and I have learnt all about the NUTS, Anne Kissels fantastic sense of humour and been able to see talent I wouldn't normally see perform it was a great experience and now I am keen to have our own Convention. Your Daughter what a sweety!! You must be so proud. Talk to you soon, well done to you and Jackie once again. All the best Joanne Wiskin /Managing Director /LOOKALIKES-UNITE International
Hi Greg, Just want to say I had a terrific time at the Sunburst!! It was my first and definately not my last. Thanks Johnny Zatlany- Freddy Mercury/ Germany
I cannot tell you how amazing this year's Sunburst was. It was totally professional, well organized, efficient, and incredibly worthwhile. Your staff was friendly, supportive, and always on stand-by to provide information and assistance. The stage looked just like a television set! Kudos to Atwinda and JR with Tune Time Productions! Brian Cole and his Edge Factory staff did a fantastic job video taping every act for truly marketable videos that will undoubtedly bring us more work. (We all know how hard it is to get good promotional videos in this business!) Eric and his Entertainment Caterers staff did a great job with the show sound and really worked hard to accomodate all the audio needs of the performers. Many thanks to Jamie, Lynn, and Jim, too, for their seemingly endless contributions. Most of all, I want to thank you, Gregg, because when all is said and done....you and your family are the heart of this convention. I can only imagine how many hours you spent coordinating all the elements needed to put it together. The "family vibe" of this event (that made all of us feel so comfortable) was truly a reflection of your personal integrity and professionalism. In my personal opinion, Sunburst deserves TOP ratings among Celebrity Look Alike Conventions. I am so glad it is here in Orlando! Thank you again for producing a spectacular event! Sincerely, Betty Atchison / www.cheriffic.com
Dear Greg: Congratulations on a Highly successful Sunburst Convention this past year. You and your staff have been able to refine what's really needed in an Look-Alike / Impersonators Convention to keep the costs down, lift spirits by providing recognition for the attendees, and just have a "damm good time" in a comfortable, classy atmosphere. The idea of a dance night incorporated into the Convention was brilliant. The entertainers- from "Pres. George Bush" to "Gov. Schwarzenegger" were able to swing their partners around to excellent dance music and have a blast. My accolades to the D.J. . I've never gotten so many After-Convention e-mails from attendees praising the great time they had, and how worth while it was for them to make the trip to Florida. Especially the 1st timers. The Sunburst Awards were beautifully mounted on a classy grain of wood. The Smiling Sunburst relief exhibits the true spirit of the Convention . . . . "To Entertain and make People Happy"! by getting their minds off lifes everyday wear and tear. Lets do it again! Let me know how I can assist you in making it happen for you again next year. All my Best in Entertainment- Joe Manuella "DeNiro"
Hi Greg WOW!! What a wonderful convention.Filming a piece for The Tonight Show is always great exposure for all who participated. I also meet several new agents that I surprisingly did not already know. And of course the most important ,I got a gig in Vegas from one of those new agents I met. Loved seeing everyone and The Rosen was a terrific venue. I have attended all the conventions and you and Sunburst absolutely have risen to the top. Congratulations! Sincerely, John Allen / Sean Connery
Dear Gregory! What a great convention this was! This was my very first time at Sunburst and what I learned at the forums was invaluable. You really facilitated our ability to meet and network with the other artists and agents. Getting into one of the comic video trailers for The Tonight Show was icing on the cake! I forged many new friendships, got great new video promo, was thoroughly entertained by the artists showcases and had a BLAST! You and your family and your staff were so gracious ...this is a first class convention! I HIGHLY recommend it to ALL artists, both newcomers and veterans! Lisa Irion Cher Impersonator
Dear Greg, I had to leave early to drive back and didn't get a chance to say bye, and to thank you and Jackie for hosting such a wonderful event. I learned so much from you, the impersonators and the talent agents. Your expertise and knowledge of the business is a great asset to the convention. The seminars and the examples you gave were very valuable, especially to a newcomer like me. It was truly amazing to see such a professional group of stars! I just can't stop talking about it. I can't wait to see "Foxy and Austin" in The Jay Leno Show, lol... Everything from the seminar, dj, performances, the staff behind the scenes, the hotel, the parties, the whole weekend was a blast! Can't wait 'til the next one! I send you a big big hug! See you in Hollywood! Iris Nasser "Jlo"
You bet I promote the Sunburst! The way you handle that convention,..it was long ago my favorite. Sherie Rae Parker/ Bette Midler- Las Vegas
Once again, simply an amazing job backed by and even more amazing amount of work. Every industry needs it's representatives and you sure stand out. Thanks for creating a platform for which all of us can be involved. You're the best. Sincerely, Chris Chan
....I want to commend you and your Vagabond team, on such an outstanding convention! Your perseverance, dedication and hard work paid off! First of all, The showcase ran so smoothly, the stage setting was exquisite and the sound was perfect! I LOVED the one minute videos being played throughout the convention. I only wish I had submitted my video in time, but there is always, next year. This was a learning experience as well as a fun one. Networking and exposure was at it's peak! Loved the Italian dinner at Universal Studios, then hanging at Margaritaville and just having the best time with everyone! It was like camp for look-alikes! LOL! Well done, bravo and three cheers to Gregg and company!!!! Can't wait 'til next year! Sincerely, Camille Terry ( A proud Floridian Impersonator!) "Annie Lennox/Marilyn"www.camilleterry.com
Hi guys, Its John (Elvis) and Karen - we wanted to say again how much we enjoyed the convention and appreciate you and your family and the other entertainers making us feel so at home our first year. It was so well organized and far beyond exceeded our expectations. ... Happy Thanksgiving! Karen and John
Oh my goodness, what a convention! I got so much accomplished towards my next videos, photos, etc. To top it off, met friends from last year and met new ones as well. Made more good contacts too. I could go on and on, but I'm still digesting it all. In other words, what a grand time. Thanks, Deborah Smith Ford/ Trinity-MATRIX
The Sunburst Convention continues to get better and better each year. The venue reaches across a broad spectrum of talent and agents and provides a one-of-a-kind platform for look-alikes and tribute artists to showcase their "wares". Many thanks again to you and your staff for pulling off a memorable event. It always feels like a family reunion and is always very friendly....... I appreciate everything you do and seeing the Sweeney Family in action was the icing on the cake. Get some rest and bask in the fact of a job well done!! And I look forward to getting my beads next year!!!!!!! Kindest regards, Don Mincey- Chevy Chase
Dear Greg, What a great convention! We were so happy to be there and the showcases were run so very well. You planned things out precisely and handled the last minute stuff smoothly....at least as far as We could tell. Your entertainment at the awards dinner was super! The Vagabond Troupe was a special surprise and the mimes were a treat for all. Not to mention Mattisen singing for us! And...wasn't it fun when our wonderful "promo guard" sang "Teenager in Love" and "California Dreaming". The whole room joined together with warmth and appreciation. Good job, Greg. You nailed this one! Sharon Daniels
Greg, At the risk of repeating my praise from last year, I want to tell you how proud I am to be part of this wonderful extended family you have so beautifully fathered - (figuratively speaking of course). It is just amazing to see the new talent join us, the veteran talent grow, the old friendships nurtured, and the new friendships forged. The warmth and camaraderie that is so genuinely and freely shared at Sunburst is due to the gentle, yet firm parenting you have provided this convention. Sunburst has gotten through it's infancy so quickly. It's taken the baby steps and now it's walking. Next year, sit back, relax and watch your baby run. You have so very much to be proud of. It gives me no end of joy to see Jackie and Mattisen so fully involved in this. They are loving every minute of it, To see a family so committed to one another and to the success of the convention speaks so highly of all of you. I truly believe that I can speak for the majority of the production staff, and talent that have been a part of this endeavor since it's inception: This has been an experience that has renewed our respect for our industry, as well as our fellow performers. Keeping all of that in perspective, I leave you with this: How are you going to top yourself NEXT year?? You'll do it. You always do. Best, Michael L. Walters-Jackie Gleason/ Dame Edna A NOTE BEFORE 2005....... Hello Greg and the Gang, I'm Very sorry that I won't be at your Convention this year, and I will miss all of you. I will be in Vegas doing a Celebrity Poker Tournament on the 17th to 21st. The progress of your efforts in putting together one of the best conventions has given me a load of exposure and gigs in Lady lakes , Boca, Largo, and Sarasota, thanks to "Book It" and other Agents that have come to your event. Networking, Networking, That's what it is all about Lois and I will be vacationing in Florida for January thru March and hope to do the circuit while I'm there. Hope you have the great success as you have in the past from all the hard work you and your Staffs have put into it Respectfully Bill Peterson www.comedy.com/bbrodney (Rodney Dangerfield) Comments About 2004's Convention. The Second Sunburst Convention was even better than the first! The bar was raised this year, and you leaped over it. What a tribute to you to create such a positive outlet for so much diverse talent. You not only provided that outlet, but you created it in an atmosphere that put everyone, performers and agents alike, at ease and without pressure. There was no stress. Just a social atmosphere in which EVERYONE was made to feel welcomed, special and most importantly, like a valued performer. I was taken aback that the whole thing felt like "Old Home Week". It's a joy to see someone you met last year, and to embrace like long-lost friends. Although I haven't been to any other conventions, I daresay no other convention fosters that sense of community among all the performers. It wasn't about competing, it was about just allowing performers to say: "Here I am, and this is what I do." The Convention just ended last night, and I have already received 2 job offers. And that's what it's all about, isn't it? Michael L. Walters - Dame Edna/Jackie Gleason -The Honeymooners, Orlando, Fl
The show ran very smooth and the entertainers did the right amount of time. Thank you for having me and I look forward to being a part of next year's Sunburst. Robert Lee/ BIG BEAT PRODUCTIONS- Worldwide Representation Note from Gregg......"OUR REGRETS THAT ROBERT LEE DIED IN A MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS IN MARCH OF 2006....He will be missed!"
"You really put a great effort in an event that reflected your efforts. I would look forward to doing it again next year just to socialize with the other performers, getting bookings is a bonus. It felt like a mini-vacation!" Wayne Rippy/ Elvis Presley
I have to say, that of all the conventions I have done of many various kinds, yours was certainly one of the smoothest and well run I have ever attended. The intimacy of being with the performers off stage, and while on stage, being able to see and hear them clearly made for a most beneficial and enjoyable time. Clearly you know what you are doing and I look forward to working with you for many years . Laddie Dwyer/ A Unique Entertainment- Orange Park, FL
Being relatively new to the lookalike business, I wasn't sure what to expect at the Sunburst. It was great! You and all the entertainers were very kind and gracious to me, and I certainly look forward to attending next year as well. I feel as though I made some great friends as well as contacts. You are a true professional! Tommy Tyler/ Travis Tritt
Just a note to thank you for all your hard work and for a WONDERFUL convention. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with a GREAT attitude and everything was handled smoothly. My compliments to the PRODUCER!!! I must also say Jane did a fabulous job as well. Thanks again for a great job. I had a wonderful time and met old friends and made new friends. And there was certainly a lot of GREAT talent there. See you next year!! Jennifer Ramsey- http://www.jenniferramsey.com/1-877-959-9302
This was my first convention for celebrity impersonators and therefore I had no idea what to expect. I gotta tell ya HOSS--I was blown away. The professionalism that was evident in your meticulous arrangement and scheduling of events was second to none. The friendliness and assistance offered by all colleague impersonators and everyone associated with the event left me with a "Jim Beam" warmness of satisfaction of best expectations achieved. I feel superb to be associated with such professional, caring, fine people in this industry. The fact that after having seen how busy and involved you were, and yet had the time to call me by name when you had never met me before, humbled me deeply. I shall never forget that. Applaud yourselves and pat yourselves on the back for a great job well done. My hat's off to ya. Rest assured, the good Lord willing, I will be there again next year. All the best--Bob Gill-Waylon Jennings.
I miss Florida already! I had a great time getting reacquainted with all my old friends, and made several wonderful new ones as well. I met several agents I never contacted before and all my DVDs disappeared! Lets hope I get as many bookings out of Sunburst! The talent this year was amazing! Next year you should sell advance tickets to a wonderful afternoon of entertainment! Great job, Greg! Hugs, Anne / Anne Kissel - "Roseanne Barr" Tribute Artist -
My thanks to you and all your staff for holding the Sunburst Convention. I know it was a lot of work for all of you and I appreciate it. I thought the convention was worth my time and money and I am planning on attending next year. Brent Mendenhall - President G.W. Bush Impersonator/ Nevada, MO
Just wanted to take a couple of minutes of your time to thank you once again for a wonderful weekend. All aspects of the Convention were exceptional. You, your staff and all of the others that worked so hard to create and deliver this framework that allowed all of us to showcase our talent were fantastic. You can be sure that I will clear my calendar for next year's event. Thanks again for a wonderful convention. Sincerely, Steve Taft AKA "Jack"
I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed the Sunburst convention. Not only did I have fun but I felt I got great exposure to many agents and talent buyers. Thank you, thank you , thank you for having such a professional production. The sound was fabulous, the lighting was great. Jane did a great job keeping things moving. All the elements of the showcase presented us as professionals and allowed us to perform at our best. I felt confident going on stage and knowing everything was going to work as it should. I am definitely planning to come back next year. Warmest Regards, Melody Knighton
Enjoyed the convention so much! I could tell everyone put their all into it - that means good results. I've already been called for a gig, and I see more opportunities in the future. I needed still photos and a promo, and I got all the above right thereat Sunburst, not to mention meeting and making new wonderful friends! THANKS SUNBURST!! Looking forward to the next one. -Deb Smith Ford, "Trinity" |
