Thanks for checking on our upcoming convention in 2008!  We are very excited as usual and are working on ways that would take our 6th Year to another level!  Wow!  How can we top last year?  We've already started by making the convention an extra day longer!  We needed the time! Also, (this is very exciting to us), we have acquired TWO large showrooms and will utilize both of them during the convention.  One will be where we hold the showcases and the other will open up and house our vendors AND.....our promo tables for the talent.  We guarantee all entertainers will be able to promote themselves on both days (full access attendees only).  Each entertainer will have up to half of a 6' table to put their promo on....if they want. One new thing I was suggesting this year is "One-Sheets".  Basically it's a headshot or a collage of professional photos on one side of an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper.  On the other side is a description of what you do.  There is also your name, location and contact information on it.  This way, you will save a lot of time and money on press packages for the agents.  If they want you, they have your One-sheet in order to contact you and ask for your promo package.  You save money and the agents won't have to "lug" all that promo back on the plane or wherever with them. Also, if you can't make it to the convention, there is a way you can have your promotional material available for the agents.  Click on the "Can't Make It?" button up on the left. Last year, CNN picked up the news story and it was broadcast all over the world.  Also, we were on the Internet for both of our showcases and our awards banquet!  Our convention will have more time for seminars this year.  Also, we are going to broadcast on the internet once again!  More info to come!  Check back!
